Mercedes-Benz welcomes a new kid on the block. Think of what would happen if you merge the C-Class and the CLS. You’ll get the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA class 4-Door coupe. The production CLA was intro’d originally as the Concept Style Coupe at the 2012 Beijing motor show. Since then many have fell in love with its sporty and aggressive design.
Design
The CLA has a very sporty and sleek body style design that can be appreciated by any age group. It takes its style ques directly from the Concept Style Coupe. Although this is what the production car actually looks like, it retained the many contours and edgy slopes as the concept had. This vehicle will come loaded with a slew of sporty interior options and an AMG version sometime down the road. You when Benz throws their AMG body kit and beefed up engines in it the car its crazy.
Engine & Pricing
At a starting base price of about 29,000 Euros ($39-40,000 dollars), the CLA will have a turbocharged 4 cylinder engine. Mercedes-Benz’ all 4 wheel drive iteration, 4-Matic, will also be a standard feature in addition to the sports tuned suspension. In other words, this bad boy hugs tight corners like a bear and the snow won’t put a stop to your wintry weekend outings. You can expect the new CLA 250 to hit U.S. showrooms in the fall. I’m sure many will whip out their wallets to take this for a spin.
